To answer this question, five partners from Denmark, Norway, Netherlands and Basque Country have launched the Erasmus+ ENGAGE project. HETEL is part in the consortium, involving Maristak Durango and Oteitza Lizeo Politeknikoa in project activities
This week, at Ángeles Custodios school in Bilbao, the first meeting was held and several working sessions took place. As a result, a schedule of actions has been drawn up to achieve the set objectives, which aim to make technology-related vocational training more attractive to women:
• Develop a European framework for gender-sensitive career guidance and train careers advisors in this methodology
• Design a multimedia tool to facilitate careers guidance for young people, families and careers guidance teams through gamification
• Involve our female technology students in an international collaborative network that meets their needs
Plenty of ideas, plenty of tasks and plenty of enthusiasm to tackle this shared European challenge. Abantean!
